Treehouse The Magical Art Of Living Beauty

Treehouse living has its own way of bringing magic to life.  It surrounds you with natural beauty and its very existance is its art form.

The treehouse I lived in was 20 feet high in the tree and, believe it or not, we had running water that graced a small hand-made bowl made of shells.  Beautiful.

We had windows and small arched doors that led to a deck.  Granted, the deck was only to rest your feet on, but we spent lots of time there mesmerized by the beauty surrounding us.  It also had  a wood stove to keep us warm.  Of course, we were very careful using it.

Built to resemble a ship, our treehouse was celebrated by those who knew of it and who recognized its craftsmanship.  You can see a picture of this magical place in “Handmade Houses, A Guide to the Woodbutcher’s Art’.

With wonderful memories of living in that treehouse, I planted a coastal redwood tree in the open space behind my house.  This little coastal redwood is growing fast.  It reminds me of the many trees that surrounded the treehouse, and one day it will grow to its regal stature.

That little skinny coastal redwood also adds tons of value in a lot more ways, too.  Makes me want to plant another and another and another.  You just might want to do the same after you see all the work a tree does for you.
